DG Cindy Palmentera

Lion Cindy joined the Royalton Hills Lions in 1993 and has 22 years perfect attendance. She has served as her club’s Director, Treasurer, Lion Tamer, 1st and 2nd Vice President and President twice. She has been very involved with her club throughout the years having chaired most of her club’s committees and may of their fundraisers. She has completed 3 years in the Regional Lions Leadership Institute. At the District and State level Cindy has served as the Bulletin Editor, Zone Chairperson, State and District Youth Chairperson and Region Chairperson. She also has been Treasurer of the Lions Eye Program at St. Vincent Charity Hospital.

Cindy was awarded a Melvin Jones Fellowship in 2007, a Betty Coffey Fellowship in 2009, and has also received three Council of Governors Merit awards, a Council of Governor Appreciation Award and two International President’s Certificates of Appreciation as well as Lion of the Year award in 2000. Cindy has attended 3 USA/Canada Forums as well as the International Convention in Toronto.

Cindy’s family is made up of husband Paul, daughter, Kristin her husband Christopher and their daughter Paige and son Zack, daughter Katie, and daughter Mandy and her son Wyatt.
Professionally Cindy was employed a staff accountant for over 40 years and is now retired.

Cindy is looking forward to serving as DG and is eager to meet and work with many Lions as she makes her visitations.
