Lions Recycle for Sight
The Lions Clubs in Ohio collect used eyeglasses as part of the global mission of Lions Clubs International to combat blindness. In just about any home, you can find an old pair of eyeglasses that are no longer being used. That same pair of eyeglasses can change another person's life.
Throughout the year, clubs in Ohio collect used eyeglasses and deliver them to sorting sites like VOSH Ohio in Pandora, Ohio. The eyeglasses are cleaned, sorted by size and prescription strength, and then packaged for use on mission trips around the world.
How You Can Help
Donate your no longer needed eyeglasses and change someone's life. We accept both prescription eyeglasses and ordinary sunglasses. For your convenience we have collection boxes located around Ohio as indicated below.
