Details - The Uniontown Lions Club is sponsoring its 31st Annual Festival for our community to raise funds for the support of our various community service and outreach programs. This year’s Lions Festival will be held Wednesday, August 19th through Saturday, August 22nd on the grounds at the HRM Complex adjacent to the Hartville Marketplace.
This year’s Festival theme is “Liberty & Justice for All” and the Grand Marshalls are Major retired Larry C Shubat, US Army and Dennis K Boley, Chairman of the Uniontown All Veterans Memorial Committee. Both represent all individuals who fought for and maintain our Liberty & allows us to support Justice for all and to honor these individuals.
The festival consists of a 50/50 drawing twice nightly, rides, food vendors, product service vendors and other crafters as well as live entertainment nightly. Car Show will be held on Friday evening. Bingo and other chance games are also available and there is a parade at 5:00 PM on Saturday. The festival concludes with fireworks on Saturday evening at 10:30 PM.

Wednesday 19th, Festival opens at 5:00 PM; La Flavour 50’s, 60’s, 70’s Music at 7:00 – 10:00 PM
Thursday 20th, Festival opens at 5:00 PM; Hymn Sing local churches at 6:30 – 8:15 PM and Aaron Stanley (rock, pop and country) at 8:45 – 10:00 PM
Friday 21st, car show at 4:00 - 8:00 PM, Festival opens at 5:00 PM; Better Monday (soft rock music) at 7:00 – 10:00 PM
Saturday 22nd, 5:00 parade, Festival opens after parade; Lake High School Band at 7:00 PM, Gerald Harris The Entertainer – jazz, oldies, MoTown at 9:00 to 10:15 PM, fireworks at 10:30 PM
