PDG Ray Empson from the Columbus Northeast club passed away on Sunday, February 23rd at the age of 92. PDG Ray served as District Governor for District 13-F in 1992 – 1993, and later for a brief time, served as State Executive Administrator for the Ohio Lions. He continued to be very active in OH-5 and was instrumental in connecting the district Lions with the Memorial Golf Tournament’s cleanup project.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Sunday, March 16th between 1:00 and 3:00 PM, with a Lions Service to follow at 3:00 PM. Services will be held at Rutherford Corbin Funeral Home, 515 N. High St., Worthington OH 43085. Burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington D.C.
