This is an update on services for Past Council Chair Ron Barber. PCC Ron served as Governor of the former 13-J, 2004-2005 and as MD-13 Council Chair 2005-2006. PCC Ron served on many committees throughout the years, both at the district (OH-6 and 13-J) and state level, as well as in his community. He was a huge advocate for Kamp Dovetail and even got to go spend a few days there this year. PCC Ron is survived by his wife and partner-in-service PDG Georgia and their family.
A Lions Service is at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 3rd, at Leesburg Firehouse (200 South Street, Leesburg, OH 45135) and PDG Georgia invites you to attend this celebration of life and lions service for PCC Ron and his love of lionism.
Other community funeral arrangements: A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 3rd, at Leesburg Firehouse from 1:00 to 4:00. A community service will be held at 1:30. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Kamp Dovetail (5350 New Market Road, Hillsboro, OH 45133) or to Adena Hospice (2077 Western Ave., Chillicothe, OH 45601).
