From July of 2014 through June of 2018, Lions and Leos from around the world participated in special initiatives, programs and events to celebrate a century of serving humanity. It was truly a celebration unlike any the world has ever seen, culminating at the Lions Clubs International 100th International Convention in Chicago, Illinois, USA—the birthplace of the association in 1917.
