January 13, 2026, is Melvin Jones’ birthday, and Lions around the world will be celebrating during LCIF Week (January 11-17) by honoring our founder’s enduring legacy of service.
LCIF Chairperson Fabricio Oliverira is encouraging Lions and Leos to mark this special occasion by making a gift to Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) that will continue to strengthen our global foundation that empowers Lions to serve their communities and change lives worldwide.
To commemorate Melvin Jones’ birthday, donors who make a minimum gift of US$147 during the campaign are eligible to receive a limited-edition Melvin Jones Birthday lapel pin, created especially for this celebration.
