Details - The Ohio Association of the DeafBlind is holding a 4-day retreat in Marengo, Ohio, on August 14 - 17, 2025. The retreat will include indoor and outdoor activities, plus a variety of workshops and classes to give attendees the tools they need to navigate in today's hearing/sighted world.
As you can imagine, this retreat will have huge costs associated with it and the OADB (a 501(c)3 non-profit organization) is busy fundraising to cover their costs. They are reaching out to corporate donors as well as Lions for help.
The Pickerington Lions Club has sent a $500 donation for the retreat and we are challenging all other clubs in Ohio to donate some amount to this worthy project.
