Bio

DG Tony DeLuke

Lion Tony joined the Kent Lions Club on March 1, 2001 sponsored by Mike Sepi. Lion Tony has had 100% attendance for 18 years. He was President of the Kent Lions Club in 2004-2005. And has received Lion of the Year three times.

He has also served as Club Membership Chairman, Director, LCIF Chairperson and Carnation Chairperson. From 2008-2010 he served as District Membership/Retention Chairman, Zone Chairman for seven years (2010-2017). He has also served as Ohio Lions State Finance & Planning committee representing District 13 OH4.

At the 2017 District Convention in Hudson, Ohio, Lion Tony was elected 2VDG. In 2018 he served as 1VDG and Chairman of the District GAT & Finance & Planning Committee for District 13 OH4. He is a Melvin Jones Fellow. He also has received a 2018 Presidential Medal and a 2019 Presidential Leadership Medal.

Lion Tony lives in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, has two children, Mitch & Brittany and an English bulldog, Baylee. Lion Tony is retired from the City of Kent where he worked for the Water Treatment Plant for 33 years. He currently is a full time Realtor of 28 years and works for Markley Realty in Stow. He also owns a Water Consulting Company, The H2O Works Consulting Company.

In 2013 he was the 101st and last president of The Akron Area Board of Realtors, President of CRIS MLS in 2017 and grand Knight of the Kent Knights of Columbus Council 1411. He is also a Eucharistic Minister for Saint Patrick’s in Kent.
