Governors, Lions, Lioness, and Leos,

In addition to my assignment as interim PRaM Chair, Lion Bill Keller (MD13 Website Administrator) and I have taken on the roles of co-editors for this edition of "The Ohio On-Lion News". To eliminate the paper version is a major step and was a much-discussed decision. The clinching argument was, however, that we simply didn’t have the money or the resources to print and mail even two good issues of the paper. We hope to create three substantial, useful editions of the on-line version, as well as having the opportunity to use the web site to issue updates and bulletins even before the next edition is ready.

Since publishing the news on-line is virtually free, we will be able to use the committee’s budget in different ways – perhaps to develop some PR training kits or work on a PR video. We should be able to put some very good tools in the hands of our club presidents.

While we’re on the subject of our committee, let me make a plug: our committee is in need of a dedicated editor. Please contact Lion Mark Page if interested.

So, welcome to the Ohio On-Lion News. We hope you enjoy it.  Please contact Lion Mark and Lion Bill to give us your feedback, comments, and suggestions.
